An C18 timber-framed and plastered house, now faced with pebbledash. 2 storeys,
attics and cellars. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in
flush cased frames. The ground storey has a small C19 shop front. Roof tiled,
mansard. This building is of no particular value but is in keeping with the
rest of the street. Included for group value.

All the listed buildings from No 24 to No 56A on the east side
form a group with No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A) on the west side.
