House, C17 or earlier, altered in C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with
handmade red clay tiles. Main range aligned approx. N-S with 2 axial chimney
stacks, aspect E. Crosswing to S with central chimney stack. Single storey rear
extension with central chimney stack and hipped roof. 2 storeys. C19 door in
gabled porch, inner and outer doorways with Tudor arches, C19. 2-storey splayed
bay of C20 casement windows on crosswing, 2 C20 casement windows on ground floor
of main range, 3 on first floor. Plaster of crosswing marked in blocks to
imitate stone. In N elevation, C18 door of 6 fielded panels, C18 window of one
wrought iron casement and 2 fixed lights in hardwood frame, with rectangular
leaded glazing.
