A timber-framed and plastered house of Cl7 origin but with extensive C18 and later
alterations and additions. 2 storeys. There are 2 blocks, the west block has
2 gables and projects in front of the east block which has a gabled wing on the
east end. 5:5 window range, double hung sashes with vertical glazing bars. The
east block has 2 bays on the ground storey with margin glazing bars and a central
doorway. Roof tiled. (RCHM 15 Gt Leighs).
