Milestone. c1825. Stone pillar of square section, placed diagonally, the upper
part of the front being curved, below a quadrant sloping (top) panel, and above
a small triangular sloping panel. The top is inscribed with the parish name
(Froyle), the rounded front with LONDON, the triangular panel with 43 (the
mileage from London). The lower faces are inscribed on the east side with
Alton 4, and on the west with Farnham 5.
