One of pair of lodges. Early C19. Brick stoccoed, with attached rustic timber
posts, thatch roof. Circular 2 storey. Alternate full-height arched panels and
openings for 4 upper windows, ground floor with 2 windows and 2 doorways. Cast-
iron leaded casements, half-glazed doors. Between panels 8 full-height attached
rustic tree trunks. Wide eaves rest on stone block caps to top of tree trunks,
which rest on brick base. Beehive-shaped roof, surmounted by small brick
chimney. Lodge at old entrance to Chilworth Manor.
