Gatepiers and Boundary
Walling to Upper
Wadwick House

II

Early C19. Slender rusticated stone piers, topped by ball finials, and linked to low
boundary wall of flint and brick, rising towards each pier. To the south-west the
wall changes to a taller boundary enclosing a (kitchen) garden on 3 sides; this
comprises rendered cob construction above a flint base, with a thatched capping. In
the centre of the south section there is a half-round shed with a cone-shaped thatch
roof.
