1848. L-shaped structure of one storey and attic. Steep tile roofing, with 1/2-hip on
one side, but with gables overhanging on extended purlins and eaves plates on the
south and east elevations. Massive stack in the angle with crowsfoot stepping and
3 diagonal flues. Exposed "Gothic" timber framing on a plinth, with arch bracing and framing on a plinth, with arch bracing and
curved brackets at the gable eaves; infilling of horizontal and herring-bone
brickwork. Casements, one bay of small projection. Porch with herring-bone brickwork
to the cheeks and exposed timber-framing on the front with decorative red brick infill
above the cambered head-beam.
