SO 83 SE CHACELEY CHACELEY VILLAGE

2/18 Rose Cottage

GV II


Detached house in two occupations. C17 and C20. Square-panelled
timber-framing with bracing, rendered brick infill. Concrete tile
roof, formerly thatched. L-shaped early core with C20 timber-
framed extension set back and extending right of main body.
Facade from north; 1 ½-2 storeys, single-light C20 flat-roofed
dormer from left wing of main body, gabled 3-light timber-framed
dormer from C20 extension, windows otherwise 1 and 2-light C19 and
C20 casements with and without glazing bars. C19 plank door to
left-hand wing with single pitched-plank hood over. Two
projecting brick stacks.
