5/98 Unidentified monument in the
churchyard approximately 2m north
west of monument to John Copner to
south of Church of St. John

GV II

Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Lyre ended with oval niches to
ends containing bust of preacher to west; bust of wife to east.
Large cartouche to south side with carved border, mostly mutilated
but with putto to left; swag panel held by putti bearing open books
to north. Cornice moulded top; base; invisible (February 1985).
Inscriptions illegible.
