Detached cottage. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Roof
formerly thatched (felted at time of resurvey - June 1986). Ashlar
stacks. Rectangular plan to No 41 with lean-to at the left gable
end. No 40 comprises a 2-bay extension set slightly back on the
right. No 41; 2-windowed with 2-light casements to the first
floor. Stone-mullioned casements to the ground floor. Left-hand
casement with hood. Gable-end stacks with cappings. Plank door to
lean-to to the left. No 40; two storeys with plank door to left.
Two-light casements to ground and first floor. All openings
boarded up at time of resurvey - June 1986.
Interior not inspected. (Barrington Park Estate).
