3/21 Cranmore Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Datestone 1729 on porch. Roughcast, with rubble stone
rear, hipped stone slate roof with rear wing in pantiles, stone
gable end stacks to rear with moulded cornice. L-plan, with small
wing of single storey and attic in angle to rear, and single storey
hipped lean-to to rear left, 2 storeys and attic. Four windows, 2-
light stone mullions with square hoodmould, one 3-light to left on
ground floor and two 2-lights flanking projecting gabled porch.
All windows C20 casement type. Porch has 6-panel inner door, flush
panels with top 2 glazed, moulded stone side seats with small
lights over, and date carved in outer lintel with square hoodmould.
Rear fenestration scattered but some original stone windows and
some restored, probably in C19, on rear projecting wing. Single-
storey side wing to right also has pantile roof and is probably of
C19.
