House in terrace, possibly originally one building with No 20
Market Place (q.v.). Mid C18. Rubble stone with quoins, coped
parapet, slate roof and rendered end stack to right. Large front
range, and rear wing. 3 storeys. 3 windows, 12-pane sashes with
concrete lintels (window to right not a sash). Twin casements to
second floor. Ground floor has central round-headed doorway with
radial fanlight and half-glazed C19 door. To the left, C20 plate
glass window and tall round-headed niche. To the right, 2 blocked
windows forming niches with a round-headed opening between, with
keystone and sash window.
