1/21 Stile and gate at north-west
corner of churchyard of Church of
St. Mary

GV II

Stile and adjoining gate to churchyard. Probably of C18 and C19
respectively. Stone stile with inward sloping piers and inner
curved top stone pieces forming narrow V shape, allowing
individuals through but not animals. Piers have sloping coping
stones with roll moulding on top, following line of wall.
Adjoining to north, plain ashlar gate piers with offsets to east
and west and gabled coping stone, with semi-circular wrought iron
lamp holder over (with lamp), and plain wooden gate beneath.
Coursed rubble coped wall adjoining to north.
