Former public house, now shop and dwelling. Early to mid C17, extended
and altered in C19. Timber frame, extended in brick. Rendered,
whitewashed and weatherboarded. Tiled and slate roof. 3 bays. 1 storey
and attic. Weatherboarded dado to front. To centre a catslide roof over
a lean-to projection with an entrance and two 2 light casements. Outer
bays have 3 light flush frame small pane casements. Three 2 light gabled
dormers. C18 external end stacks, red brick with tiled offsets. Gable
ends are part weatherboarded and part brick cased. Slate catslide roof
over continuous lean-to addition to rear. Small pane recessed casements,
one with an entrance under a segmental head. Interior not inspected.
