3/25 Slys Cottage

II

Formerly shop and post office, now house. C17. Random rubble
limestone; stone slate roof; brick chimney. 2 rooms; single-
storey with attic; fireplace and spiral staircase in gable end.
Scattered fenestration: front has off-centre doorway with reused
Classical lintel; 2-light to left with recessed chamfered mullion
and hoodmould; timber casement to right with timber lintel; 2
roof dormers with C19 casements. Blocked doorway at gable end and
2-light window to attic. One 2-light window at back. Part of
roof truss visible in attic with arched collar.
