GV II

Row of 4 cottages. C18 remodelled in eary C19. Timberframed and
black weatherboarded, ground floor cased in stock brick, painted
at No 52. Steep old red tile hipped roof. A row of 4 very small
2-storeys cottages set at right angles to the road facing S,
except No 52 which has its door and windows on the W end. 2
large shared chimneys in the front roof slope, rebuilt in stock
brick. Small 2-light casement window on upper floor and
Yorkshire sliding casement under segmental arch and plank door
under small cusped canopy on shaped brackets. Similar on W end
but 2-windows on each floor, all casements.
