Circa 1866. Low coursed rubble wall with ashlar plinth and chamfered capping. Two
pointed archways stepped up from wall, right hand one for ture (back passage) behind
west side of Square, left hand one to ture (alleyway) leading to Fossseway, railings
form rear angle of this ture with (churchyard).
Gatepiers have twice chamfered plinth and capping, wrought-iron lamp overthrow and
gates. Wall extends to rear extension of "Square Corners" and incorporates a screen
with Gothick 'Y' tracery window and arched doorway.
