Late C15 and later. Waring family home 1505-1671. Originally a much larger building.
Red brick ground floor with some timber posts, 1st floor close set timber framework.
Gabled old tiled roof with red brick large chimneystacks. 2 storeys, lattice casement
windows. Eaves level tiled hoods over 1st floor gable end windows. Reputed fine
interior. VCH, IV, p 217.
