15/10 War Memorial

GV II
War memorial. c1922. Limestone ashlar. Rectangular plan with battered
sides. Plinth inscribed with the names of the dead. Below the cornice,
and above a band, is an anchor carved within a wreath and enclosed by a
swag. Surmounted by sarcophagus with draped flag. The memorial is
enclosed by a retaining wall (qv).
