C1840-50. originally identical pair with No 48. Two storeys red brick.
Three bays with a matching recessed fourth bay. Stucco plinth. Hipped
slate roof with flat eaves, corniced chimneys. Ground floor has central
doorway with Soanian incised pilasters and 3 windows. First floor with
4 windows. All windows retain glazing bar sashes, stucco sills and cornices
on console brackets.
