of Vine Farmhouse

Barn. Early C17, lengthened and midstrey added C18. C19 and C20
attached outbuildings. Timber-framed with concrete block west
gable-end. Wattle and daub and weatherboarded walls. Corrugated
iron and pantile roofs. C17 barn of 8 bays with arch-braced tie-
beams to alternate pairs of principal rafters. Clasped purlin
trusses with reduced principals and arched windbracing. Butt
purlins below. C18 roof with collars, alternate ties with knee
braces, butt purlins and queen struts. Later additions not of
special interest.
