C17 timber framed cottages altered in the C18 and now fronted with brick on
the ground floor and plaster above. Nos 6 and 8 all plaster on a flint rubble
base. Nos 10A and 10 still showing their bressummer, though the ground floor
below it has been underbuilt in brick. Nos 10A and 10 also have an eaves cornice
and have been re-roofed with modern machine made tiles. All houses except
Nos 2 and 4 have sash windows. Glazing bars intact in these, except No 2 where
imitation lead glazing and No 8 modern casement and No 10 3 box sashes with
glazing bars missing.

Nos 2 to 18 (even) and No 22 with Nos 3 to 11 (odd) Guildcourt Lane and with Nos 28 to
36 (even) Delf Street form a group.
