A Victorian house of small architectural interest built on the site of the shed
where the victims of the "Bloody" Assizes were hanged. Still called "Gallows
House". Listed for historic interest. Long building set behind Nos 7 and 7A
on the corner of White Hart Lane. Tall 3 storey black painted brick front to
High Street. Slate roof with 2nd floor windows rising into roof. Pair of sashes
to 2nd floor. 3-light splayed bay to 1st floor. C19 double shop front.
Nos 3 to 7 (odd), 7A and 9 form a group.
