Cottage. Probably C16 with C19 refronting. Red brick in an irregular version of English Garden wall bond over rubble
plinth with Ham stone dressings (local stone to sides and part rear); thatched roof; brick end and central stacks.
2-storeys, 4-bays. Entrance door to bay 2 with very deep stone lintel over; 3-light chamfer mullioned windows to
ground floor, 3-light timber casements above. Stone garage extension to South side, with double Roman clay tiled roof,
probably C19. On North gable substantial stepped rubble chimney breast. Internally on North wall partly blocked
fireplace, chamfered sides, massive stone lintel over; deep chamfered arched beam in same room with chamfer stops;
several old doors. Evidence of both external quoins and variations in internal walling suggests that roof has been
raised by about 0.6 metre, possibly in C19 with the refronting.
