Mausoleum. 1880 on datestone. Built for George Byng, 3rd Earl of
Strafford. Portland stone. Square on plan with square sections cut out
at angles. Blocked Doric columns at corners. Continuous heavy cornice
surmounted by urns at corners. Small dome with skylight rests on square
drum. Quoining. Inscription on S side, " 'And in the Garden a Sepulchre'
XIX St. John VXII". Datestone with S under coronet on N side. Iron gates
of 1918 to S. Railed enclosure.
