House. C18 with Cl7 or earlier kitchen wing. Timber frames
roughcast with steep old red tile roofs stepping down from W to
E. A 3-cell, 2-storeys, central chimney plan house facing S with
entrance at E to link to an older 2-bay, single-storey and attics
kitchen wing, with a further single-storey outhouse in-line to E.
S front of house has 3 windows to each floor, central chimney a
third from W, 6-panel flush beaded door at E end of front with
hood on shaped brackets, and canted bay window to parlour at W
end of front. Flush box sash windows with 6/6 panes. Kitchen
wing has 2 gabled dormers on the roof slope and 2 windows
flanking the door. Enriched fire surrounds c1800 to 2 ground
floor rooms and one similar on 1st floor with early C19 cast iron
hob. 2-panel doors with H-hinges and moulded architraves. Large
tie-beam in kitchen cut for insertion of central chimney.
