No 80 (Ermine Cottage), and No 82

House, now 2 houses. Late C17, refronted in late C18. Timber
frame on low stuccoed sill, roughcast with a steep old red tile
roof. A 2-storeys, central chimney plan house facing W. 4
windows long with flush sash windows 4/8 panes on 1st floor and
8/8 on Ground floor. 2 similar entrance doors with 6-panel flush
beaded doors and narrow reeded pilasters, traceried rectangular
fanlights and moulded hood. Large square central chimney a
third from N end, and internal gable chimney at S. High-set
purlins at N gable suggest original attics, in the clasped-purlin
roof.
