Large early C18 end earlier coaching inn, later a school, now Divisional Education
Office. Red brick, tiled hipped roof with corbelled cornice. 2 storeys, 12 sash
windows with glazing bars in nearly flush frames under cantered arches. Central
canted bay, full height with 3 windows, hipped roof. 6 fielded panelled door under
Doric porch, Left central carriage arch. Taller wing runs back from south end.
