House. Mid-C18 with some late C20 alterations. Brick with hipped tile roof,
gable end stacks. Three storeys, dog tooth brick cornice, five windows:
glazing bar sashes under rubbed brick heads, second floor: glazing bar sashes
of squatter proportions under timber lintels; ground floor: central entrance
with wooden doorcase which has engaged Ionic columns and a segmental pediment
on elaborate consoles; enriched architrave and fanlight to six raised and
fielded panel door. Plaque between two windows to left records that Stanley
Baldwin was born here in 1867.
