Cottage. Probably late C17 to early C18 with late C19 extensions and late
C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame with plaster and
brick infill and weatherboarding, tile and Welsh slate roofs, brick stacks.
Two timber-framed structural bays aligned north-east/south-west. Two
storeys. Elevation to road has two windows, 2-light late C20 casements;
attached to left is single-storey late C19 brick extension with two 2-light
casements. Frame is generally three square panels high from plinth to
wall-plate. South gable is weatherboarded (RCHM, Vol I, p 163).
