30 metres west of
Sidcombe Farmhouse

Cowshed and cartshed. Early C18. Timber-frame on high rubble plinth, weather-
boarded, stone slate roof. Four-bay cowhouse attached to south-west corner of
barn (qv), 2-bay cartshed to south with continuous roof. Cowhouse: 4 cattle
entries in rubble ground floor, hayloft above with wall of single rectangular
panels with straight tension braces, trusses all have raking struts; cartshed:
open to front, timber lintels to openings supporting open-fronted hayloft.
