Farmhouse. C16 west (rear) wing, late C17 main house. Sandstone rubble,
part timber-framed rear wing, C20 tiled roof. Main house aligned north/
south facing east with earlier rear west wing broadly forming T-plan, central
entrance with rear stair turret, gable end stacks. Two storeys, attic and
cellar. Four windows: cross casements, one 3-light window on ground floor
to north of C20 glazed porch, partly glazed door. Single storey with attic
to rear wing, timber-framing revealed in gable end, square panelling with
V-struts in gable. Interior: C17 framed newel staircase with turned
balusters, one stone fireplace with moulded jambs and 4-centred arch with
decorative details in spandrels remains intact in room to south of entrance.
