5/27 Stable block to rear of
Hockley House

GV II

Stable block. Early C19. Brick with old plain tile roof. L-shaped 4 stable
single storey block with 2-storey block to left with stable on ground floor and
groom's accommodation over. Single storey block consists of 4 stable doors with
6-pane windows beside. To left, bay of taller building has stable door on ground
floor and 2-light casement above. Projecting part has early C19 segmental headed
door and 2-light casement with 2 2-light casements above. End rebuilt with garage
on ground floor, and added garage bay beyond with C19 hipped 3-light dormer above.
Roof of higher building half-hipped.
