Stable block. C18, with C19 changes. Walls of brickwork in English
bond with stone dressings; plinth, keys to flat (brick) arches, Tuscan
pilasters with frieze and architrave: brick dentil eaves (replacing cornice
of the Order). Tile roof. Symmetrical south elevation, with three
windows on each side of a centrepiece, which has a pediment enclosing a
circular window, an oval carriage arch flanked by round arches. Casements.
At each end there extends a brick wall, broken by carriageway openings formed
by brick piers, crowned with stone cornices and finials. C19 rearward
extensions.
