Pair of cottages. Built C16 or possibly earlier, as one 3-cell house. 1
storey and attics. Timber-framed and plastered with some areas of C17/C18
plaster; some C19/C20 cable-pattern pargetting in panels. The left-hand
gable was rebuilt in flint rubble with brick dressings in C19. Thatched roof,
hipped at left-hand end, with one C19 eyebrow casement dormer. An axial
C17/C18 chimney of red brick and a C19 internal end chimney. C19 small-pane
casements at No.1; a small-pane C19 sash window at No.2. No.1 has a boarded
C19 entrance door, No.2 a C19 panelled half-glazed door with small panes.
