Farmhouse. Early C19 front block; the rear range incorporates C16 work but
has been considerably altered. Pale yellow brick to front range, with a roof
of modern concrete slates; the range to the rear is timber framed, roughcast-
rendered, with a black pantiled roof. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade, with
pilaster strips to the quoins and the narrower centre bay; 3 windows, inset
sashes with glazing bars under flat brick arches. The doorway is placed
within a semi-circular arched recess: 4-panel door with roundels within the
centre rail, semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. The rear
range has mid C20 casement windows and a heavy internal stack. One ground
floor room in the rear range has heavy unchamfered joists of early C16 date;
there is a little exposed framing on the first floor. The C19 block has
reeded door surrounds wich carved embellishment at the corners.
