House, now commercial premises: C18, refronted and heightened early C19; C20
alterations. Red brick in Flemish bond; roof not visible. 3 storeys, 2 bays
with rear range. C20 shop front with central door and another door (to No 38A)
left. Windows are sashes with glazing bars on 1st floor, 6-pane sashes above
all with gauged flat brick arches and projecting sills. Parapet. Stack at
right end has stepped tabling. Right return: rear range is not as tall as front
range and has stepped, dentilled eaves.
