Manor house, 1589 and later. Coursed limestone rubble. C20 tiled
roof, half hipped with hipped dormers. Brick stacks, centre stack
with diamond set shafts. 2 storey with attics and cellar at south
end. 4 bays, with entrance in front wing, 2 rear wings, one of
1926. Stone mullioned windows, much restored with relieving arches
over. Open porch lateral to forward wing, with label moulding and
diamond set stops. Lintel with simple triglyphs and guttae. Date
stone on right gable, 1589, T.G. (Thomas Goddard).
Interior not seen, said to be mainly of the 1930's.
