Entrance to works tunnel, c1870, and trimming shop, 1872 for GWR. Rock-
faced snecked Foxwood stone, ashlar Bath stone quoins and
dressings. 2 storey, 7 bays, centre bays leading to tunnel to
works under main line, with side offices. Shop on first floor, now
disused. Central 3 bays brought forward and quoined on splay.
Arched carriage entrance with pair 4-panelled doors and side 4-
panel pedestrian doors, all with hood mould and key over
carriageway. Round-headed sashes to side bays. First floor 16-
pane sashes within quoined surrounds to side bays only. Unmoulded
ashlar cornice, and gable over all 7 bays with keyed oculus.
Elevation continuous with wall to left, and to No. 7 Carriage shop
to right (q.v.).
