House. c1830 for the Brunyee family. Brick, Welsh slate roof. L-shaped on
plan: 2-room, central entrance-hall south front with stairhall and kitchen
wing to rear left, and outshut to rear right. 2 storeys, 3 bays;
symmetrical. C20 6-fielded-panel door in original surround with moulded
lintel and plain overlight in roll-moulded wooden architrave beneath a
painted wedge lintel. 12-pane sashes in similar roll-moulded architraves
with sills beneath wedge lintels. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Stone-
coped gables. Corniced end stacks. Left return: ground-floor 3-light
sliding sash with glazing bars to left; 12-pane sash stair window to right
and 12-pane first-floor sash to left in similar surrounds to front;
dentilled brick eaves cornice. Small attic hatch with board door to right
return. Interior. Open-well staircase with moulded handrail, plain
balusters and turned newel posts.
