Shops.Early C19, with mid C19 shop front. Iron framed
building. 4 storeys to Nos. 14 and 16, 3 storeys to No. 12.
2 tall storeys of glass panels between slender iron struts
(colonnettes with capitals). Crested canopy to ground floor
shop fronts, dentilled cornice above 1st floor with Ionic
capitals to columns, and ornamented balustrading. Portion
above is stuccoed, No. 12 has cornice and pediment over
segmental arch of original 1st floor window, 4-light window
above with colonnettes. Altered parapet. Nos. 14 and 16
have end bays breaking forward. Windows in architraves,
those to centre tripartite, 2nd floor with segmental
pediment. Modillioned eaves cornice on top.
