House, now 3 cottages. Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot
stone with graduated stone slate roof. Double-depth 3-storey
house with conservatory to left gable and later 3-storey
wing (Spring Cottage) to right gable. 2-bay front elevation
has 6-light ground floor windows and 5-light first and
second floor windows all with recessed flat-faced stone
mullions. Kneelers and gable and ridge chimney stacks. Door
with square-cut surround to left gable. 1, 2, 3 and 4-light
windows to gable and rear. 2 doors at rear first floor level
have square-cut surrounds. The later addition is single-
depth, set back and has a door with rusticated surround and
keystone lintel and a 6-light sash window with square-cut
surround on each floor.
