Bandstand at Boundary
Street Garden
TQ 3382 8/60
1899. At centre of raised garden. Forms a focal point visible from each of the
radiating streets of the estate. Octagonal wooden bandstand. Japanese style
tiled roof with finial and wide overhanging eaves, curved roofline. Inside, lined,
to form plain painted ribbed ceiling, which gives unusual impression of radiating
panels. Clapboard balustrade.
