House. C17, mostly rebuilt C18 and refurbished C20. Originally timber-framed,
with some posts and wall-plates exposed. Otherwise rebuilt in brick, mostly C18
but with C20 brick in right gable. Rubble stone base, thatched roof, brick
chimneys rebuilt C20. 1 1/2 storeys; 3 bays. C20 barred wooden casements, mostly
3-light but with 2 2-light to ground floor right, one in a blocked doorway.
Another single light to left of centre bay. All upper windows are in thatch
eyebrows. Central C20 half-glazed door. C20 brick garage extension with tiled
roof to left. Small C19 wing to rear, of 2 storeys with slate roof. Occupies
position of visual importance across north end of village street.
