Farmhouse. Dated 1615. Painted brick with stone dressings,
stone slate roof. Hall with cross wings. One storey with
2-storey flanking projecting gabled bays. Flush quoins.
Double-chamfered windows of 5 lights have brick label moulds
and leaded glazing. Entrance to left of right wing has lintel
inscribed "I.M./1615". Wooden gutters and down pipes. Brick
ridge stack. Interior said to have Priest's hiding place in
chimney breast, but not inspected. The oldest dated house in
Liverpool.
