Farmhouse. Mid-late C17, altered 1846.
Coursed squared ironstone, Swithland slate roof, stone end and ridge stacks,
originally with paired stone flues with moulded basin and caps; ridge and
left end stacks has been largely rebuilt in brick. T plan. 2 storeys and
attic, 3-window range. 2-window range to left, facing street, has part-
blocked door to left of centre with wood lintel and 2-light casement
window replacing door. Small window to ground floor far left at lower level
with segmental-arched head. 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window to
ground floor right with hood mould. Similar 3-light windows to 1st floor.
Cross wing projects to right and has 6-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion
window to ground floor with king mullion and hood mould. 4-light ovolo-
moulded stone mullion window to 1st floor and similar 3-light window to
attic floor, both with hood moulds. quoins and overhanging eaves.
Interior: Ogee stop-chamfered spine beams.
Several stone hollow-chamfered and wave-moulded stone fireplaces with 4-
centred heads in upper rooms.
