SK 60 NE MAIN STREET (North Side)

2/56 Corner Cottage


Cottage. Late C17/C18, altered early C19. Red brick with high painted rubble
stone plinth and C20 plain tile roof with brick end stacks, that to left to
rear. Brick dentilled eaves. 2 storeys of 3 diamond lattice horizontal sliding
sash windows : 3-light, 2-light, 3-light. On ground floor a similar 4-light
either side central door and 1-light within C20 stone and wood gabled porch
with Swithland slate roof.
