C18. Painted brick. Steep-pitched slate roof with gabled ends. Paired
brackets to wide eaves. Three storeys. Three windows, rubbed brick arches,
sills, original sashes replaced by plate glass. Ground floor two plain
modern plate glass shop windows and plain modern central doorway. Including
wing at rear: probably C16/17, timber framed and brick nogging, corrugated
iron roof with gable ends, two storeys, much altered, continuous first
floor window on east side, interior, chamfered ceiling beam, arched brackets
to curved tiebeam exposed in first floor room, the remainder of the roof
trusses not exposed.

Nos 42 and 44 including No 31 Loseby Lane form a group (Nos 44 and 31
Loseby Lane are buildings of local interest).
