gates to churchyard

Cottage, probably C18, just outside churchyard. Coursed rubble with rough
quoins and stone tiled roof with coped gables and end stack. 2 storey,
2 unit plan, with dormers. Chamfered timber lintel to casement windows,
and a single dormer to rear. Large ceiling beam visible in section in rear
wall.
Adjoining the cottage at right angles, paired iron gates to churchyard with
flanking railings,mid C19. Spear head railings mounted on coped stone
parapet. Cast iron gate piers with fleur de lys finials. Paired gates
have spear heads and decorated lower panel.
