Three houses from terrace (remainder altered), early C19, now shops.
Brick with stone dressings and basement, with slate roof. Three stacks.
Such house (double pile) is of 2 bays, 2 storeys and basement. Stone 1st
floor sill band and cornice. Doorway to left has fluted jambs and lintel,
and jambs carry up round fanlight, with Y-tracery except No.55. 5 stone
steps to doorway with plain iron railings; beneath them basement door.
Well of basement protected by hooped iron railings. Windows have splayed
stone heads except to basement, but all have altered glazing.
